KD has studied Tarot and astrology since 2003, when she began an apprenticeship with a modern astrologer and Tarot reader in Kansas City, Missouri. As a child, Greek and Roman mythology seized her imagination, and she spent hours creating god and goddess “trading cards” and reading everything about mythology she could get her hands on. Little did she know these stories would help her interpret and synthesize planetary influences when she turned to traditional, or Hellenistic, astrology as an adult.
KD is a student of and certified via the Nightlight Astrology School with Acyuta-bhava Dasa. Since 2018, she has been offering consultations with a specialization in virtual delivery to make astrology and Tarot more accessible.
KD holds dual bachelor degrees in philosophy and political science, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent, Brussels School of International Study. She loves travel and history, and cherishes the time she has spent living and traveling abroad. Currently, KD lives in Takoma Park, Maryland, with her partner and two fur demons (sometimes, beloved familiars). She is an avid writer, amateur designer, and a passionate cook.
